Deia: A Vibrant Cocktail Bar in Brooklyn

I went to DEIÀ on one of the coldest nights in Brooklyn last night and I had a time. DJ was great, the drinks were strong and worth the money, and it wasn’t too packed where it was uncomfortable. I would definitely be back

Deia has been on my list to check out so I stopped by last Friday evening. It wasn’t too packed which was fine for my first time. I got a rum cocktail that was delicious and very strong. For food, I ordered the coconut shrimp and guava wings and loved them! Great portion sizing and both were yummy. As for the service, everyone, security, bartenders, busser, server, were all so professional and attentive. The owners made a great DJ selection booking Snips for Fridays because he played hit after hit. Didn’t hang out much in the back patio but there’s extra seating there which is nice because this isn’t the largest of establishments. However, I t’s such a cute local spot and I was very impressed with everything so I definitely recommend visiting for a drink or food or to dance. I plan to be back soon.

I come to Deia usually to unwind.. Max the bar tender is a good bartender. . He take time to get to know the customer.He make sure to make connections with people that seat at the bar. I enjoy the lemon pepper wings.. this is a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

THE DEIA is a neighborhood gem, and in less than a year, has made an great impact in the lounge and nightlife space in Brooklyn. Owned and operated by young black men of Caribbean descent, this concept has filled a void in the BK hospitality landscape. It's young, fresh, stylish, intimate, fun and hosts nightly DJs and weekly vinyl spins! The indoor is a rustic, dimly light, speakeasy vibe; while the outdoor has a bit of Cali-esque green and woodsy ambiance, with a large screen playing the night's sports game or weekly movie attraction. S/O to Junn, Vlad and team for their hospitality. Wishing them the absolute best in Deia'a growth and their future endeavors.

I love this place! Always a great crowd with with good music. My only complaint is that they put a mystery "delivery fee" on your tab which causes you to double tip. I don't even think the bartenders realize it's in there.

Fantastic Neighborhood Bar with Great Cocktails & Service We were in town for my husband's birthday and had dinner planned at my daughter’s apartment. She suggested we check out this neighborhood spot before dinner, and I’m so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and inviting, with a beautifully relaxing decor. The staff was attentive and provided excellent customer service throughout our visit. The cocktails were superb—expertly crafted and delicious. We also ordered the nachos and truffle fries, both of which were absolutely amazing. The music was perfectly on point—just the right volume to set the mood while still allowing for conversation without having to shout. Overall, this place is a gem! Whether you're stopping by for a quick drink or a bite to eat, it’s well worth the visit. We'll definitely be back!

Great spot, with excellent drink options, solid bites, attentive staff, and smooth atmosphere. Excited to come back when the patio is open. DJ was A1 and crowd was great. Bar is on the smaller side so i can imagine it can get crowded.

Gorgeous little cocktail bar. The interior is stunning, the people are lovely and the staff are super attentive. Me and a girlfriend got two cocktails, I didn’t try the food but will next time. The cocktail was cold and delicious. Not too sweet either. I went on a Thursday and there was a good sized crowd so I am interested to come back on the weekend.
